UV Disinfection System for Dairy Industry
Our UV Disinfection System is specially designed to provide high-quality UV-treated water for cleaning and sanitizing dairy processing equipment. It is not used for milk sterilization; instead, it ensures that the water used during washing and CIP (Clean-In-Place) operations is free from harmful microorganisms.
By disinfecting water with advanced ultraviolet (UV-C) technology, the system helps maintain strict hygiene standards throughout the dairy production facility. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination on equipment, pipelines, storage tanks, filling machines, and other processing components.
Applications
- Cleaning of milk processing pipelines
- CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems
- Milk storage tanks and silos
- Pasteurizers and heat exchangers
- Filling and packaging machines
- Conveyor systems and production equipment
- Water used for final equipment rinsing
Key Benefits
- Provides microbiologically safe water for equipment cleaning
- Reduces bacteria, viruses, yeast, and mold in process water
- Chemical-free disinfection without altering water quality
- Supports hygienic dairy production practices
- Helps reduce the risk of cross-contamination
- Low operating and maintenance costs
- Instant disinfection with no chemical residue
- Environmentally friendly and energy efficient
How It Works
Water passes through a stainless steel UV chamber where it is exposed to high-intensity UV-C light at 254 nm. The ultraviolet energy destroys the DNA of microorganisms, preventing them from reproducing and making them harmless. The disinfected water is then supplied to the dairy cleaning system for effective equipment sanitation.
Why Choose Our UV System?
- Food-grade stainless steel construction
- High-performance UV lamps
- Compact and easy-to-install design
- Low maintenance requirements
- Reliable continuous operation
- Suitable for new and existing dairy plants
Note: This UV Disinfection System is intended for disinfecting water used in cleaning and sanitizing dairy equipment. It is not designed for direct milk treatment or milk sterilization.
UV System : In this method water flows through the SS Chamber and gets in contact with submerged bank of germicidal lamps housed within quartz Sleeve.
