Submersible UV System
What is Submersible UV System?
A submersible UV system is a device that disinfects water by being submerged UV System directly into the tank by emitting UVC rays. UVC technology is very effective at inactivating microorganisms such as algae, bacteria, viruses, and protozoa etc. However, it does not remove physical impurities such as dust or suspended particles, nor does it change the colour, taste, or odour of water.

Design & Construction
- UV Lamp: Emits short-wavelength UVC light (usually 253.7 nm) for effective microbial inactivation.
- Quartz Sleeve: Made from high-purity fused silica, providing a waterproof casing that protects the UV lamp from water contact while ensuring maximum UV transmission.
- Electronic Ballast: Regulates energy supplied to the UV lamp, ensuring consistent output. Includes a power indicator, lamp status lights, and failure indicator. Typically located outside water.
- Cable & Seal: Waterproof cable and fittings ensure safe power delivery under submerged conditions.
- Power Supply: 230V 50Hz Single-phase.
